I finally got around to installing an exhaust gas temperature and transmission temperature gauge. I know that the best place to mount these things is right in your face on the A-pillar. But being vertically challenged, I didn't want to give-up the grab rail that I use every time I get in and out of the van. So I mounted them here.
I think it looks very stock and I can clearly see them while driving, thanks to that dip in the steering wheel airbag / horn unit.
The gauges came with those ring / collar that I had to slightly modify to get the angle and contour right. Her is where I got them;

Drove out to Utah and on the way the outside temp got up to 109, my EGTs never went over 800 and mostly stayed around 600 to 700. The tran never went over 200 and stayed mostly around 180. That's good, right?
I'm going to by installing a 4" turbo back exhaust in the next few week so it will be interesting to see what difference that will make.
Cheers,
John
