What kind of tire are YOU running?
Just trying to get an idea of which tires to buy next. I have BF Goodrich All-terrains 265/75 16 (i think) now but I checked out some other brands a couple of days ago at 4wheelparts in Fresno and might go with a more aggressive tread pattern. Also, how much will my fuel mileage suffer if I decide to step it up to the next size...
On deminimis' suggestion I checked out the Toyo Open Country A/T's and the M/T's. I really like the tread pattern on the M/T's but most of my driving is on-road so I might go with the A/T's.
I also checked out the Nitto terra grappler which looked cool. And of course E-rated.
I guess my next question is where are the best prices? 4wheelparts had good prices but would charge me an additional $25 per tire to mount them...

Re: What kind of tire are YOU running?
Running BFG AT 285/75/16's, E load rated, since last year.
Same size and tire as before, but E load rated versus the previous D rated. More stable ride.

Re: What kind of tire are YOU running?
Continental ContiTrac LT275/70-18 LR'E'
My next set of tires will be Michelin A/T2 in the same size. I have the Michelin's on my pickup, and after 45,000 miles they are about 1/2 gone.

We have used BFG's on our Westys and my truck, we are very satisfied with the wear and performance so far.

Re: What kind of tire are YOU running?
Nitto Terragrappler AT, 285/75/16 E rating. Almost 7k miles on them with one rotation using the spare. So far, so good and I have no complaints.
