Picked up the 1.7 today - it's small, but not as small as it's made to look in the picture that jage posted... the inside is angled on the left, and the right side goes really far back. That six pack could actually be an 8 or 10 pack and still fit. I managed to stuff a couple liters of milk, a few beers, and a bunch of meat, vegetables, and dairy in there for a trial fitting today

I think they make it look small in that photo, so that you end up buying the bigger one for more money!
It's no 4 cubic foot, and I'm sure I could think of ways to fill up a 2.7, but I'm impressed at how much food I can fit into this one.
