Accent lights for stock headliner vans

I'm looking for some ideas. My new build is a passenger van and has recesses in the headliner from the original rear seatbelts which have been removed. Many folks add lights here which is my plan for some of these recesses as well.

Example borrowed from motovan_mn, hope you don't mind!

There are a million styles, just curious if some of you have found some unique ones. I'm considering these or something similar:

These particular ones are not dimmable. I could solve that but dimmable aren't hard to find, just haven't found the style I want yet.

I've been thinking of the same thing. So I'm going to follow and see what gets suggested.

I've been thinking of doing flexible map lights like this

And then there's this - just one of many --

Will be reading along as I‘m just about redoing my interior (thread follows once done) :-)

My target would be a flat dimmable light. Let‘s see what others throw in!

Hah, I thought that first picture looked familiar! For reference, in that particular photo I just hung a Goal Zero collapsible lantern on the hook so I could work at night. It's not a permanently mounted solution.

Ha! I see now. I had some pretty hideous accent lights mounted in that location in my van when I got it but I'm looking for a better solution.

Like you I'd have to give up a hook though.

I don't have any brilliant light fixture solutions, but here's how I dealt with 3 of the shoulder belt mounts:

Driver's side front mount hidden by the thermostat........easily reachable when in bed.

Two passenger side mounts used to store Fiamma goodies.

Thanks for the pics! That is exactly what I have in mind for a couple of the recesses, lights in others and the factory hooks in maybe two. It blows my mind how many recesses I have even in an RB van. I think 6 or more?

My two rear left ones will be covered by a closet/fridge. The forward left two will be lights over the couch and right side is still tbd.

I ordered these lights today:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was hesitant to get anything on a flexible stalk for over the couch but these are only 8.5" from base to tip even though they look like a foot. Amazon so if they don't work out I will return. Also, I really dig the USB chargers in the bottom which will be just above each end of the couch. Should be handy if they aren't junk.
