4 Grand Van

I spend most of my time on Expo, but I bought a van! And so here I am... It's a 2003 e350 Super Duty, 7.3 PowerStroke with 250,000 miles. In great shape, everything works except a possible AC leak and bad blend door. And possibly something with the EGR or a vacuum line cause the service engine light comes on during long uphill grades but turns back off on the way down.

Currently a lowly cargo van - it's going to stay that way for some time while we use it as a work van as we renovate a new (100-year-old) home. Eventually, a 4x4 conversion, pop top, and a mild interior build should happen- but for the meantime it will haul plywood while I gather ideas from all the awesome posts I find here!

Congrats and welcome. Looks like a great base from which to build and will of course work great supporting your home renovation.

Welcome. There are plenty of threads here about blend door repairs. A scan gauge will tell you what codes are setting the check engine light. Cheers.......

"bad blend door" Is the dash air stuck on defrost regardless of dial setting?

Heater only works on “vent”- when on other settings the cab still gets warm, but there is no discernible air movement from the floor, the defrost or anywhere...
A/C modes have air movement but not really COLD like it should be, my guess is a possible leak and/or needs a recharge...
