Hello SMB forum
I wanted to say hello, to you all, I’m back in South Louisiana, where I grew up, after working Tv production in Los Angeles for over 30 years. I’m single and retired now.
I have owned a Ford & 3 Dodge SMB’s (2003 or older) I have also tried many other RV’s, and the SMB, is my favorite.
I am looking for a Dodge 2000-2003, 2wd, low mileage as I can find, SMB POPTOP, side gaucho, as loaded as I can get it, if anyone sees one for sale, I will travel anywhere, for the right SMB. This will fit in my carport, and I may try it, as a daily driver. Since prices are going down, hoping for 20k or less
I would look at an extended one also. I’ve learned so much, reading this forum, over the years, so happy all these tips, advice & hacks, are posted here
If there are any meet ups, down here, I hope I will find out in time to attend, Thank you

Thanks Steve
My budget is 12-20k, the 30k price of this Dodge SEC, at a far away dealer, would have been a fair price 8-10 years ago, I don’t think a Dodge 2002 SMB, is worth that now, IMO. And it’s not the side gaucho floorplan, I am seeking
I’m not an expert on NADA RV values, but it came back with $12,500 to &15,600, for a 2002 SMB.
SportsMobiles are harder to pin down the value, because many are so different & custom ordered.
I appreciate your response, thank you.

I thought it was a bit high also, but seems like they are all still priced like the pandemic is still going on. RV Trader is a good place to search for them though.

Search Facebook Marketplace along the West Coast, specifically the PNW. I recall seeing a really clean Dodge SMB for sale in (I think) Oregon not too long ago. I'll try to find the FB Marketplace link.

Did you see this one here on the SMB forum for sale? $8,500 or so?

Thanks Steve, just too many miles, even with a newer engine, and the rust spots, make if seem like a project, I don’t need right now, Not the floorplan I want either, too far to check it out
Thank you for bringing it up, I would prefer to pay more, and get something I want to keep for 5 plus years
