Hi I have a 1998 E 350 EB 7.3 Diesel . I purchased it new and have been using it for a surf van and to tow a Airstream trailer. I just recently had installed a SM penthouse top and i'am going to start a conversion on the inside .

The only thing I've done so far is installed swivels on chairs and made temp surfboard rack . Been doing a lot of reading and research for ideas on perm floor installation .

I live in Glendale CA anyone close that is doing a conversion?

Welcome!
I am just starting my build as well, I have a 1998 EWB as well. I wish it was a 7.3 like my old CrewCab SuperDuty I loved the motor and truck. I ended up with a really solid 5.4 so that will have to do.
There is a lot of great info on the forum here, BoyWonders build is 33+ pages of DIY goodness, there are some other great ideas in the Ground up build area as well. I am about ready to put the floor down in mine and I have a lot of stuff that I ordered setting in a box waiting to get installed in the next few weeks.
I made a Amazon List that has most of the stuff I hve compiled so far, a lot of it is sitting in my living room wating to get put together. (I am in Utah so it is a bit colder at the moment than where you are.) Check out the link if you want and see if anything there is helpful for you. I hate going to the store so I use Amazon a lot.
Here is my build thread as well, it isnt 33 pages yet but it is getting there....
All the best with the build hope to see you around.
