I have a tire carrier that I'm ready to mount to my stock Ford bumper. I'm sure it's fairly straightforward, but in any case does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions they'd be able to share?
I could contact Aluminess, they're always extremely helpful, but thought someone might have a set today, being Sunday.
Bones is correct. Aluminess provides a spacer for the right side of the bumper to even things out. The most difficult part of the install is removing the upper door rivet. You have to cut or grind the bottom of the rivet off before you can drive it out with a punch. Very hard to do without damaging the paint on the bottom of the door bracket.
I needed an additional spacer in order to mount my tire on the carrier and Aluminess was great in talking with me about it and sending the necessary part gratis. I'm sure they would be happy to talk you through the install. I'd check their web page for instructions before you call.

I don't know about the bumper side, but on the tire side you need to make sure that a few points of rubber are against the arm- the lug plate in the middle is not designed to support the whole tire, but the arm and plate together should be. Mostly an issue if you're extending the mount plate.
