OK - All back together and everything works. I used the cables I mentioned in the above post. I had also locally bought the Dorman replacement ends and decided that new cables were a better path. I'll keep them for the NEXT failure. I'm sure that is a "When" and not an "If" for the other doors. FYI the right rear door does not need the cam lock replacement end so this Dorman kit only has 3 usable ends for this door. All 4 of the ends on this door were separated. Like any DIY repair I could now do this in 1/4 of time I spent on this task. If you have a 20 year old van like me an inspection might be in order. I'll be taking a peek on the barn door soon.
