D-Bulb and binder bolts?

There are companies that do custom bulb seal profiles. At the scale they’re doing them, it might be proprietary.

As for the sex/binder bolts, my first refresh of the top just held the SMB gasket on from the outside......and I used brass 3/16"-1/4" long binder bolts McMaster 93813A311.


I recently re-did my top again and this time punched holes in both lips of the gasket and used 3/8"-5/8" long binder bolts (black anodized aluminum) McMaster 99024A334.


Both times I used a paper hole punch to punch the holes in the rubber. This last time I went thru 2 hole punches to get the job done. I bought crappy $5 Staples punches......great example of "they don't make them like they used to"......of course they aren't designed to punch thru rubber.
