Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

I think you could still get $40k for that rig in CA. The "issues" that you point out are very minor and can be fixed for a couple hundred dollars. If you have maintenance records, it would be an easier sell.

Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

i do have all maintenance records - while i didn't fix some of the smaller cosmetic things, i have kept up with getting it into a speciality 4x4 shop every year and have them go through it and fix anything that needs fixing. that and all regular scheduled maintenance.

I live in colorado...think i could still fix things and then ask for 40k? The canopy top as you can see has some discoloration that probably can't be fixed without replacing the canvas.

Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

I agree that these small fixes could be done at a very low cost. Wheel well liner from a junkyard, re-string the window shade (Google for a DIY), new visor or just a new vanity mirror assembly, new faucet is a $20-$30 DIY (got mine at Lowes), passenger mirror is $40 at most on eBay (did that on my van - easy), cabinet could get by with just T-moulding trim. I wouldn't worry about PH discoloration.

Considering what van you have, I'd fix the small stuff and ask top dollar. The market for 7.3's should work very much in your favor.

What exactly is the problem with the cruise control? If it's just the buttons on the steering wheel, PM rallypanam about that.

I like the van
I also think a low 40K should be the minimum you get. Donīt sell it cheaper except to me

Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

wow this is great!! the cruise control problem ford told me is a hub sensor issue - they said it was gonna cost $500 and i was going to fix it but then i had an exhaust leak that cost $500 to fix...so that took precedence.

I'm considering redoing the cabinet surfaces with the DC-Fix rather than having sportsmobile send me new ones.

Fix everything and ask $45k or sell as is and sell it quickly for $35-39k. Either way pay a couple hundo for an awesome detail and take awesome photos for ur ad.
