That may be true if there wasn't a way to have the "check engine light" not be on for an emission test. I'm not a mechanic but that is my understanding of how to "pass" with an EGR delete. Thanks...

You are correct. Ford fixed it right away, finding a chaffing wire under the dog house. There was even a TSB about it. I'm impressed to say the least about the local ford dealer.

Full float still ended up on some EB vans, but it was rare (mostly Wagons, if not exclusively).

Have you ever weighed the van to get your axle weights? Not unusual for SMB to overload the...
