Oh, well why didn't you say so? Adapters are fine, I doubt you will have any issues... but those disc brakes...

I did. Reread post 46. I'm not keeping score but I was pretty sure I mentioned that. Anyway, you're right, I hate the old drums. I really want discs!

^^^ he's got an add up in the classifieds, but I don't remember specifics. I've got an 00 e350 ff axle fs if you aren't interested in his
Attempting to install a 05 f250 sterling axle in my van tomorrow. Been collecting parts for a month or so now. Ill report back progress if any when I can.

His appears to be a sf, so it is not on my list. I'd like to eventually put a ff in my rig. Boise would be a bit of a drive to come fetch it, though. What are you asking for it?

Converting to discs using E or F series axles also requires changing to a rear disc master cylinder. Drum MC won't build enough pressure for discs.

Thanks CarringB. This is getting closer and closer to the 'later' list than the 'now' list.
Still, since I have the adapter/spacers already I think I'm just going to go for a newer E series full float Dana. I found that they are pretty common and affordable on Car-Part last night.

Yeah, even 2013+ axles with bigger brakes are less than $2K here in way overpriced CA.

What goes under the coil in the picture? Do you just put the OEM spring perch on top of the MG attachment?
