I've got one. Not sure how heavy it is for shipping. Where are you?

Charlie,

The winch to pull the spare up, into its stock location under the van. Remember the old days? Or did your van come with a rear mounted spare?

Ahhh

Now it makes sense. Thanks. All I could think of was the tire winch on a big Mog type vehicle. My SMB came with the Aluminus mount to begin with. I always plugged my puncture flats on the trail rather than hoisting the tire off of the rack.

I believe that's an Auto Zone or at least Napa part.

Re: WTB: Spare tire winch

I got a spare one, in Houston TX. Probably cheaper to ship from SanFran to Reno though.

Re: WTB: Spare tire winch

I threw mine out when I got rid of the stock jack and bought a hydraulic jack, only to realize the second purpose for them. You can order them from the Ford parts department...
