We believe in SMB family stype....
Mom is 86 yrs young and has the 94 SMB 7.3 with 4x4
I am 54 yrs old with spouse and have the 2001 5.4 EB 2WD

Currently own;
2005 RB50 4X4
Past vehicles;
94 Quigley custom interior
87VW Vanagon SYNCRO with Jetta engine
86 VW Westifilia
93 Eurovan
76 Ford E350 Pathfinder 4X4
5 other VW vans, 59 camper, 64 crew cab, 68 bus,drove that one to the tip of Baja in 1973, 71 bus, 76 van.
I'm beginning to notice a pattern.

37, have a 89 E150, 2wd, 2'' lift, self installed ''75 turtle top" pop top, for 12 years. Just got my 2003 e350 7.3 back from Ujoint! custom layout and still lot's to do on the inside - probably not going to raise the roof in anyway, I'm short.....and love to load the roof.

38 and 39...
Bought our first, "test" 4x4 Sportsmobile with just the pop top and gas loving 460 in 2010 for a song. Just to see if we would use it or not. We traveled more those years than any previous. Sold it, and upgraded to the current 1995 in 2012.
The W calls it her "mansion"
Never had anything that went fast.
Previous vehicle was a 1994 Landcruiser with RTT and all the extras you could add.

I didn't vote in the poll since I don't have a van or SMB or RV yet. Been planning and dreaming about my homemade build for YEARS now (started in 2005 I think). Just don't have the funds to make it happen (child support for 3 kids really sucks). Once my kids are all grown up maybe I can start making my dream a reality, when I actually get to see my entire paycheck instead of only half of it.
Oh, and I'm 42.

I bought a 99 Dodge B3500 cargo van that has a Salem Kroger 4x4 conversion. Had a hard top installed and have built the interior similar to an RB50. Working on it now for 1 1/2yr and been using it for road trips, weekend trips and hauling the boat to the lake.

There's an old mine near a hot springs called Valley View that the Bats(250000)hang around and all exit at dusk. I hear its quite a site but we missed them by a week or so, guess they headed back to Mexico.
