We occasionally bring her along on bike rides but often bring her on trail runs(on foot.....we're distance runners). She(Honey the dog) can easily run 20 mile days in the mountains.

That said, as long as the weather is cool, she is fine hanging out in the van for hours. We have several fans and coverings for every window that keep it pretty cool inside.

Finally got barn door and rear door pop out windows installed. Easy job but kinda tedious dealing with butyl. These will be awesome come summer.

They were originally clear.....I had a friend tint them. They're not quite as dark as I wanted but they'll work.

I did both barn doors and just the rear passenger side door. The driver side door has too much cabinetry in the way to be of much use.

Looks great Brian!!!
How long of a job was it to do each of those?

I hear ya on the butyl sealant/gasket stuff. Not the funnest material to work with....it's a serious revelation, however, to learn that simple rubbing alcohol cleans it up though.

Inspired to see that it looks like ya pulled it off as a one-afternoon job!

I'd allow an hour to an hour and a half per window, heavily dependent on butyl messiness and what the trim on the inside of the door is like. On mine I needed to remove the upper portion of the door panel and all the handles/pulls/speaker grill/etc.

Assembled/installed 2 drawers this afternoon. Both of these storage spaces have always been a little awkward/hard to really use......not anymore.

Quite possibly the best camp spot we’ve ever found. New Year’s Eve above Bishop in the shadow of Mt Tom.
