For what it's worth...
Here are a couple ways I've bent and straightened pipe and tubing both square and round.

First.. is a simple jig made from scrap wood to be used with a hydraulic bottle jack

Second...is utilizing the receiver hitch and a fulcrum ( I used an old steel wheel as a fulcrum )

Quoting myself from an old thread:

So much cheaper for me, but had I known I'd be installing it I would have taken more measurements!!

Garage
jacktupp, lol, your illustrations are freaking endless...

50 bucks for a top?!? beats the hell out of my $20 junkyard awning. nice find!

we have a local spa cover manf here that said he could craft a top canvas if I wanted. he said it would be np, but wouldn't spit a price without measurements. might look into that option so you could get it done the way you want it. the one thing I would change on my ccv top would be zippered screens on every window. having one custom made you could do that. plus bigger windows than what smb offers. lots of options, just depends on if you can find a place to make it for cheap enough.

I will be taking my EB top to a boat canvas shop next week to get a few repairs done. I was already planning on asking for a cost to make a entirely new piece. More to come next week.
