Re: 2007-2008 Econoline Part Number Question?

Nice, is that your booklet? I have some old GM ones like that and possibly some Ford ones.
I still love old vans. Wouldnt it be cool to be able to order one of them again?
I had a 1980 Chevy Nomad that I wanted to restore but I decided to sell it a few months ago to concentrate on my 2008 van since thats what we camp and travel with. My 08 is a 350 and silver as well.

2007-2008 Econoline Part Number Question?

I just googled "Ford Cruising Van" and the brochure showed up on Amazon of all places. There was a thread about this version on the Ford Truck Forums while ago. I can't quite fond it now or I would put up a link. My dad had a 2nd generation window Econoline. It was his work/ family do everything vehicle. I still remember the screws and nails, plumbing fittings and coffee cup stains on the large flat doghouse.

Edit: Here they are:

Re: 2007-2008 Econoline Part Number Question?

I love second gen Econolines and that big dog house was definitely a catch all.

I don't know why but I think those things were so good looking especially if they had chrome grill. I was at a big van show last summer and there was an amazing one all done up like a Shelby Mustang strips and all. I thought it was just about the nicest custom van I saw at the show.

Also I have a vanning friend who has one he put on moth balls in 1977. He bought it new in 1974 did some customizing to it and then just put it away. It is still today like a brand new van.

Thanks again for the part number and all of the van chat.
Jamie
