I have one but they "recommend" not sleeping with it plugged in. It only has an on/off switch. I've used it as a leg warmer / lap blanket. It's been a a few years but I do not remember it being very efficient or toasty but was nice for watching a movie on a cold night. I don't think it was very big either. I think I ordered it online; not sure from where. I could do an experiment if need be but might be in the van which is in a repair shop.
