Re: New water cans

I'd say my LCI water cans are:

18 1/2" tall
14" wide
6 3/8" thick (this is the toughest measurement due to curvature)

Take all these with a grain of salt. I e-mailed them a question about the availability of other colors (nope) but they were responsive. You might try shooting them an e-mail to get their specs.

[EDIT: I should point out that the measurements I took were with the cans unfilled. I imagine they may get a bit thicker when full. I haven't filled them yet so I can't confirm]

Yeah, there wasn't much communication from them, but the cans must have showed up in something like 4 days from the time of order.

Beefy little suckers, aren't they?

Re: New water cans

For what it's worth, I purchased the Sceptor 2.5 gallon water containers a year ago. They were fairly expensive, but well made and the size was perfect for storing under the bed of a RB/EB 50. (we don't have a rear bumper tray so fitting underneath was important to us). oclv

I believe "blue" is for Kerosene, in case anyone was wondering.

Blue is international for water, though many other colors are used as well.

Re: New water cans

The only Scepter cans made in blue are MWC (Military Water Cans).... and the handles are different between MWCs and MFCs.

I have found a source for Blue Scepter MWCs.

...now I just need a couple of Yellow MFCs.... (Diesel)

I don't know that I have seen any special color for kerosene or jet fuel.
