I was thinking about checking this out as I’m a few hours away and in the market for a camper van but the miles scare me. I had a car with 340,000 miles and it ran great. It’s just really hard buying someone else’s 300,000 mile pony.

Thoughts on the van?

I think this one was listed before, I remember the little gas mileage saver things on the side.

Any potential buyer should ask if the trans has been replaced or rebuilt. Looks like you can switch between a third captain seat and a cabinet which is nice if you need an extra forward facing seat. I think its a solid buy at the listed price even with the high miles. Thats assuming it's in as good as shape as it looks from the pictures.

This is a steal in my opinion (if there aren't hidden problems like tranny as stated above). The v10 could still have some life in it and likely does but by 275 most Ford trannies are about gone.

This looks like an amazing candidate for a cheap 4x conversion. Just plan on a full replacement of the tranny with the conversion and you could have a complete 4x SMB for $25k. V10's are cheap and plentiful if it gives up.

I wonder how fast you could get those hideous airfoil things off the side? Pro tip: Don't buy a V10 SMB for mileage. It's going to get basically 10-11 mpg. Face it. Embrace it.

Supershuttles get 800,000 HARD miles out of an E350 before retiring them...that one’s just broken in. Being a one owner is a plus.
