It's still worth looking at... I think I could either fix it or add one of my pop tops & sell the top that's on it. I fear rust too... But I think there are options here...

Whether it is or not this is probably similar to what you're looking at if it's leaking through.

Good luck. I know rust. I fear that.

Easy fix!

Good idea MSD. With that plan one could sell the PH top complete and easily fund one of your tops. Damn, I've seen the light! I wish I were closer.

Hehe, That's not the same van. The owner in the other thread is a friend of mine. PETE's van is in OC and he's already patched that rot he posted about.

"The door key is different from the ignition key."

Guess it was broken in to or stolen at one point. Still could be a deal if it's legit.

I would definitely be interested in using this one for parts transplants and moving my project forward.

I sent the seller an email as well. I guess you pulled the trigger faster than I polishadam82. If this one doesn't work for you, please share what you find.

Anyone else look at the sink vs faucet placement?

Thought the same thing at first, but that's a two burner stove recessed in to the counter top. You can see one knob and burn marks on the grate. Weird.

edit: pic #3

Guess they use a countertop plastic "sink" hence the gooseneck faucet.

Good base project! But the faucet is offset from the sink.... What am I missing there?
