Propane alarm

So it's been mentioned before that there's no direct replacement for the CCI Controls gas detector/alarm that came in our vans in the mid 00's
Mine is a 06.
The first pic is the dead detector that I replaced with an manufactured date of 6/05
The second pic is the replacement part from Safe-T-Alert model 30-442
It's as close to a direct replacement as you'll find and fits the existing hole nearly perfectly, being just a hair too narrow.

FWIW The Safe-T-alert detector is also available as a combo Propane and CO detector if anyone wants both.

Replaced mine with a combo CO2/Propane black one - and cut a back plate from carbon fiber sheet to cover the hole which was just a bit larger than the overall dimensions of the detector - looks great -

Am in the process of replacing mine as well. Got one off Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4LBQG1W...roduct_details. Will install it next week.

Garage
Couple good threads on the CO/Propane units; Scall77 shared a nice unit a little over a year ago which comes with an 'adapter plate' - 1st post in this Thread:
