We have been using these lights for about six months now and most recently on our three-week trip around Arizona. We hiked and camped the Grand Canyon for four days and these lights were awesome.
They are really light weight, last about 10 hours on a full charge and charge the internal LiFeO2 battery via the built in solar panel. We attached them to the top of our backpacks during the day hikes and they were good to go all night. In the tents we hung them from the D-loops for night lights.
When we were in Beastie, we used them inside as well as hanging from the awning to highlight the area around the van. During the drives, they lived up on the dash to recharge during the day.
Super wonderful efficient little units that put out a great deal of light via the LED's.
My wife, 1derGirl, was so impressed with them, she made arrangements earlier this year to become a distributor for these lights. She then promptly designed and coded a pretty cool website.
Let me know if you are using them and how you like them. They are available from many sources, but if you are up for for it, check out her website and the blog post about our trip.
