We ordered our SMB on June 25. It was an instock van and it went into production on July 9th. We are having the SMB 4x4 conversion and it is a custom configuration as far as seating/cabinets. However, we are not doing anything out of the ordinary at all as far as electronics, bumpers, 4x4 etc.
The estimated build time from the production date is 10 to 12 weeks. I'm guessing we will be getting our van sometime in early October.

If it's done, what are you doing here looking and posting on this site. GO GET IT!
Herb
P.S. If you see a big, red, obnoxious SMB up there, it's probably mine. It's suppossed to be done tomorrow (Tuesday), but wouldn't you know it, I have to fly to Providence tomorrow, so I probably won't be able to pick it up until next Monday.

Jeffrey,
Have fun, and try to document your walk-through as well as possible (camcorder?). I bet you'll get bombarded with info.
Have a great time on your shakedown run!
BTW, I like the rear bumper setup you picked. I have the camper box setup, but I like the exterior spot for a jerry can.
Herb
