Hi Guys Im looking for some ideaas on where to put some rockers switches and a exterior led temp gauge that is same dimension as switch up front somewhere.
I cant seem to find any pics of switch setups..
Are there any pillar pods that fit ford 2002 van?
Thanks

Re: rocker switch placement?
^^^ i love and hate those at the same time. its nice to have that visual and be able to monitor, but those pillar pods create huge blind spots on an already large pillar. Plus it tells wouldbe thieves that you have add ons that could possibly have a good payoff.
i value my view out the window (ive even thought about removing the grab handle there as well) and plan to build an overhead console like a lot of other members have done for all the switches and gauges i plan on having. id post a photo, but i cant remember which members have added those to their builds, sorry

I do ! But I have no switch on it, just some space to store maps and front curtains.
As you shenrie, I don't like any equipment on the pilar. More than reducing view field, lights of gauge also distract the vision when driving in the dark.
@reelchef67 : if just for a switch and control light, why not installing it on the Dashboard panel Under the stiering wheel? It's easy to access to and easy to reach when driving... ;-) I've all switches of on board air and lockers and also controls of airbags there.

Re: rocker switch placement?
^^^ yep, and i have one, but depending on what year your van is will dictate how useful it is. with the 7.3 i dont get an option for egt's, so im stuck installing a actual gauge. theres a few other options not available to us 7.3 owners as well, i just cant think of them off the top of my head

Re: rocker switch placement?
Related but different question on gauges.. Previous owner had a combined EGT/Turbo Boost gauge added. Because it's a combined gauge, it's kind of hard to read and I'm thinking of replacing with two 2" gauges.
So the question is, is the wiring on gauges standard? Can I just reuse the old wiring and plug in two new gauges?

Re: rocker switch placement?
^^^ you should be able to use all the connections on that one gauge for the 2 you replace it with. just keep in mind that along with the wiring (actual wiring for boost gauge is normally just for lighting) from the boost part of the gauge will be a hardline (what actually gives a boost signal to the gauge) that you cant kink. there are union junctions you can buy if you need more length for the hardline wherever you relocate it to.
