Dynatrac axles

Does anyone know if SMB buys their Dynatrac axles off the rack, or if they are custom made for them.

Re: Dynatrac axles

It's the Dynatrack Pro Rock 60. There is nothing unique to SMB4x4.

Re: Dynatrac axles

To an SMB4x4, with the right spring perches, yes. But it's just a built, shaved 60. You could pull a junkyard 60 or 70 and be in about the same position... match the gears, put the spring perches on in the right place and you're good to go. What are you trying to do?

Re: Dynatrac axles

I thought SMB had the center section moved a couple of inches to the driver's side. Clearly, it is further to that side than my F350 axle.

I went on the Dynatrac website, and while there are some 'Standard' ProRock axles (custom fit for Jeep CJ), they can be built with nearly any width, bolt pattern, brakes, spring/shock mounts you want.

So, I would have to say you can get a Dynatrac to fit a van, but a Dynatrac that someone has probably won't fit.

Exactly. There are a few bolt in replacement axles, but all Dynatrac axles are built custom. The SMB front axle is specific to SMB, set up to their specs.
