Re: Hankook ATM RF10 ?

I think the COOPER DISCOVERER A/T3 was the winner in the all terrain category at consumer reports. Very good traction in most all conditions. Anyone have any real world experience with this tire in snow and ice?

Re: Hankook ATM RF10 ?

I have always used Michelins on most of my cars and trucks. I usually trade them or sell themmwhen I first get a new or new to me vehicle. Back in 2005 my 2004 Audi A4 Avant needed tires at the same time as one of my co workers who had a 2003 A4. I know crom hears of also owning trucks and vans that cars are not the same but we both installed Hankooks and we both removed them in less then 5;000 miles. He went back to the Conti Sports Contacts

Re: Hankook ATM RF10 ?

I had the Cooper Discoverer ATP tires installed yesterday at Discount Tire (285/75/16, load range E). I really do not have any real driving impressions yet since they have only been on surface streets, but no complaints either.

However, I think they look really good and that's what is most important, right? They also have a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty, so they should last me a lot longer than the Nittos I had on previously. They do appear to have a slightly more aggressive tread pattern than the Cooper Discoverer A/T3, but otherwise I think they are essentially the same tire.

Sorry for the poor pictures, I just used a camera phone.

Re: Hankook ATM RF10 ?

I couldn't find the Discoverer ATP on the us.coopertire.com web site. Is that a discontinued model?
