Seems like a decent deal considering how much people are asking for older rigs with lesser quality finishes.

I would never buy it because it references a build thread on about every forum, except this one!

Price is OK in my opinion, but no solar, and no water system.

Damn! I can't believe after all that custom work done just last year, this vehicle is for sale! For anybody with the coin, this is top of the line. Wish it was me but yahoo! to whoever gets it. Great stuff.

So about 50% depreciation in 1-2 years?? Must be a tax write off for some company. Think they need a new comptroller. Looks like it would be great for $$$ tailgate parties but not for camping.

^^^

I don't think your picture of money in a toilet accurately and respectfully represents the quality of craftsmanship, the innovation, the time and effort of those involved and the high end components that went into the SEMA van build.

When the van came to me directly FROM Sportsmobile, we spent substantial, unexpected time ripping out and replacing some of their (brand new) wiring and interior trim due to poor execution.

There's far more to this van than a Craigslist ad.

Ouch! Maybe LenS's foto belongs in the First Time Using a Portable Potti thread.

The first time we used ours it looked similar to his picture... a little more MiraLax and we're buying this van plus our ordered Sprinter!

I have seen the build thread. You won't find a better built interior.

I could camp the hell out of that van.

I may be wrong, but I wonder if Len means just that the van is being sold for a lot less than it's worth. At least that's how I took it. Not that he was disparaging the quality of end product.

A high-end SMB pulling a G-Wagen on a trailer. First time I've seen that.
