We have a 2016 Sprinter 2500 2wd low roof with the SMB RB50 interior and penthouse top. About 18 months ago I installed Sumo SSR-329-47 springs on the rear. These are rated at 900 lb capacity at 50% compression. They have made a difference on the van rocking when you go through driveways, etc. At the time, I did not see the other rear units that are rated @ 2200 lbs, but I think they would have been overkill for this configuration.
Now I'm considering Sumos for the front. They offer 2 capacities: 500 lb & 1,000 lb. I'm looking for input on which to choose for my configuration. Anyone have any experience with these that can give some advice?
Not to derail the thread, but I'm also wondering if the Sumo rear devices ( SSR-329-47 ) are compatible with the Hellwing anti-sway bar systems? Or is it one or the other? Cheers.

Van Compass replaces the front bump stops with Sumo’s, I have them on my van and have been happy with them. Suggest you go to the VC website and see what model number they list.
Of the suspension upgrades that I did on my Sprinter including custom tuned fox shocks and better tires, Sumo springs gave me the least improvement. On the other hand, they are fairly cheap and easy to self install so I would use them again.
Van compass says the choice is based on whether the front end weighs more ore less than 4,000 lbs. I have not weighed our van, but since we have a 4 cylinder I'm guessing that the 500 lb option would be appropriate.
Stage 4 vc kit here w Fox adjustable rears. I installed the sump springs up front before I did the rest of the stage 4. IMO huge improvement. Felt it right off the bat. Cheapest thing I’ve done to van too.
