He sell them for $1200 for a pair made out of aluminum Block texture powder coating, but again he will need four orders.

I'm still good for one set.

Rock slider power steps.

For what it’s worth I have Rock-Slide Engineering power steps. So far I’m pleased with the Quality of the steps (3/16 powder coated steel about 80 lbs apiece). From what I see they will hold up to moderate rock abuse although as with any rock slider I wouldn’t push it. They attach to the body under the door (with some serious Riv- nuts) and to the pinch weld below. The wiring is pretty straight forward as the installation instructions as well. Yes they are pricey ($2,300. out the door) but you get what you pay for. The boys at Rock-Slide Engineering are very accommodating .

No, they still make them. Amazon has them also but Andysautosport.com is the best deal. Forget about Amp.

Peter at SMB told me they discontinued them.. but maybe not? I might need some of these, if they've worked out some of the reliability issues.

Can do. For measurement references purposes, the running board step is 6.5" below the level of the plastic inside step.
