There’s a few threads that address this. It is possible to upgrade, but yes, Quigley conversions require you to redrill the rotors to 8 on 6.5
You can either source replacement rotors from Quigley or get upgraded aftermarket rotors and have them machined. I upgraded to cryo frozen slotted rotors from Frozen Rotors and had a local machine shop drill them for our 8 on 6.5 fitment, I ordered rotors specific to my conversion, in my case, a 2003 F-350 D60 front axle which is normally 8 on 170 before Quigley converts the hubs/rotors to match the van rear end.
There are other quality rotors and big brake kits out there, maybe someone else can chime in with other options.
