Wtb - SMB

I hope this is ok to post here? Looking for a FORD pop top sportsmobile to buy. Can pay up to $30k for a good van in good condition.
Have wanted a SMB since I worked down the street from them in Austin in 2007 and fell in love with those vans.
I’m located in Maine but willing to travel or have the right van shipped.

Not sure you’ll find a Sportsmobile with pop-top in that price range, although a couple nice vans have come up in the past 8 weeks which are DIY conversions that have promise - check out the Classifieds section. Most are usable for trips now, and you can install a pop-top later. This is just two examples:

Welcome Ryan, I think with some searching you can find a nice 2wd at the top of your price range. It will likely require travel but possibly not that far. The west coast SMB's usually demand a premium and they do come up a little cheaper in the eastern US on occasion. Just be diligent. Putting the word out here is really the best move you can make.

FYI, the second van Twoxentrix posted has been sold, which is not a surprise. It was a steal.


You could also benefit from the downturn in values on luxury items like this lately.

02 E250 SMB long 2wd 5.4 pop-top. I helped a family friend purchase this 5 years ago.

He asked me to sell it for him, as he's not using it as much as he hoped.
