WTB used roof rack for a 2014 Ford E250 extended. under 300usd if able. SoCal area.

Hello all. I am looking for one of the full roof racks that have a built in basket running the full length. not just the ladder bars but something I can load up with stuff and tie down or attach solar panels to safely and easily. Everything I am finding is like 600 to 3k which is above my price range right now I was hoping to find something used in the 2-300 usd range? but no idea if this is a pipe dream.

Thanks all!

I found these and they seem to be close to what I am looking for ( but brand new is still more then I was planning ), anyone know someone selling a used set of them? From some more googling it does seem like finding something under 300 is a lost cause unless I make it my self. I have a tiny bit of experience welding from a class for stick welding I took years ago but no idea if I can make something with the skills, and I have never used those skills outside of the class.

Anyone have experience with them?

There is a forum member that made a nice roof rack using aluminum ATV ramps from Harbor Freight.

Check these guys out, looks like they’ll fab up whatever you want. I don’t have any first hand knowledge of their workmanship, pricing, lead time or quality.

@clicker44, That looks intresting! may go down that route depending on what I find.

@Coloradical, I am in Southern CA but depending on how I end up doing this I wouldnt mind driving a lot to get it. ( i.e. I may build everything but that, then driving cross country is my plan any ways so could pick it up later in the build.) but woyuld prefer something I could daytrip to get.

@Ref, Thanks for the link. Will shoot them an email and see what they charge!
