Re: Daily Driver?
Mine sits most of the time. Poor MPG and way to difficult to navigate on the two lane streets around here.

^^^ similar to madscience, but we likely get more "weather days" here. if i dont have to use it as a commuter i dont, but our rallywagon is down so it has been my main ride for the past few weeks. my commute is only 2 miles though. the thermostat doenst even open
hoping that will end today as im getting the bike titled after work. then hopefully going from 12-14 mpg, to 40+. this is assuming i pass the tests of course.
id ride my bike to work more often, but i always seem to have crap to take care of immediately after work.

Re: Daily Driver?
Our SMB is my only vehicle with four wheels so I drive it when my scooter will not suffice.

Re: Daily Driver?
I treat it like an RV. I occasionally drive it to work but it mostly sits when not at play.
I'm curious how SMB came about those numbers? 98% is probably complete fabrication. Perhaps a more interesting stat would be ownership time. I bet it's less than 3 years.

Re: Daily Driver?
The forum comment links to here:
https://www.google.com/search?q=sportsm ... 9&ie=UTF-8
So they did mean forums.. but it doesn't really make any sense.. there are over 103,000 results there, but that's kind of meaningless.

Re: Daily Driver?
The internet! As if other companies never have issues? I mean I feel for anybody who has problems but you just need to look at their overall track record. The percentage of happy vs mad customers usually speaks for itself even though you might be able to pick out certain build tactics that one manufacture does better than the next.

Except let's quantify: the happy isn't coming from build quality, it's mostly from the lifestyle that is accessible with these vans.

That might be true. I have a 6.0 PSD... got to be the lifestyle
