The last 55 miles of North Padre Island come to mind, first 5 are 2wd, the rest is 4x4 only.

Jack, maybe you should start a new post: specific places you can't or shouldn't go without 4x4, then we can list them all and point people there when they ask the question.

I bought my van 2004 and picked it up 4 months later in 05. went straight to the mountains for a week. big group of us get together every year for a ten day camping trip.i know that number but never kept track of the other days I spend in van.i have retail stores and semi retired at 47. now 62.for the last 15 years I have been racing my road bike around southern and northen California and across the season starts in jan and finishes in sept I race crits and stage races almost every week so I use my van a lot leaving in sept for 2 weeks to Utah for the masters nationals.will spend have the trip in van other half will cousins. I live in laguna beach and played volleyball for 25 years. it was time to make a change and do more traveling I love getting in van and exploring new places. home away from wife no kids just girlfriends so its always easy to get away.
