I appreciate all the inputs so far. All over the map, but that's OK, it's given me a lot to think about, but I'm not really closer to any decision yet.

Great thread. I'd like to head to Overland Expo for my first time but it seems like I might be doing this backwards.
Last year I retired early and relocated to North Idaho. Yes, it has my dream shop so everything else is extra . Now I just need to see if I have enough spare cash to go to the Expo this year.
I love my van but living in North Idaho (with my dream shop) is making me happy.
