For those who are new to traveling across Colorado, stopping occassionally for pizza, don't be alarmed if you see locals putting honey on pizza crust.
It's just one of those funny things we do in the rockies.

So keep a eye out if your in the area. We are not hard to miss with a Gooseberry mesa trail marker sticker on the back door.

Kelly,
Have fun.
If you do hit Gooseberry, I'd appreciate a recap on which trails to ride and camping spots.
If my map reading skills are accurate, Gooseberry is doable from LA over a 3 day weekend. Much more accessible than Moab or Fruita. I've also been told the Little creek area near GB has great riding.
Thanks Rob

L. Creek is just as good as Gooseberry but has different character. Even though it's on the next mesa south on the same lowermost member of the Chinle Formation the slickrock is smoother. And there is more singletrack.

And for Jage, if I recall correctly, Hot Tomato has a gluten free pizza crust option.

Re: Jimin'y on the move again. Fruita CO/ SLC UT tell the 6t
Well, I had to work yesterday so I missed Gooseberry at the Tomato. I have today off if you are checking messages. My mistake, I meant to post that I work Friday. I just read through my threads and I didn't mention that important piece of information. Story of my life. Hope to try again today.
Gus
Jage, yes the gluten free pizza crust isn't too bad.
Saline, if you worked a real shift you would have today off like the rest of us. Miss ya.
