Re: Saline Valley, October, 2013
It makes me quite happy so many are enjoying the videos.
I am working on some time lapse videos of a couple Saline Valley Sunrises and I have one time lapse video of the night time stars.

Re: Saline Valley, October, 2013
Like the wheel shot in the SVD video. For some reason I can watch that on my iPhone 5 but not the 1st video.
Would love to see a Survivor Man angle shot (camera on tripod) of your rig either entering/exiting a rough part of the road where we can see some wheel articulation.

Next time I get out into the boonies I plan on trying new shots. It's just easier to have the cameras attached to the van.

Re: Saline Valley, October, 2013
Here are a couple Time Lapse Saline Valley Sunrises I have been playing with in QuickTime, no music. I did one of the night sky stars, not happy with it. Need to work on night time pictures a bit more.

Re: Saline Valley, October, 2013
I am just getting into time-lapse and took a few videos on the trip. This was the best of the lot. Stars over racetrack, best viewed in 1080p resolution:

Re: Saline Valley, October, 2013
Steve,
I couldn't view it, something wouldn't let me. It said to view it on youtube.
Do you have a problem with small red dots on the pictures? I have them on my pictures and I read they were caused by the sensor getting hot spots from the bits of light hitting it with the aperture wide open.
