Flows were 500cfs. Water would have been mid door. We had 2 pickups also and they were not up for even the lower camp. There was a 4Runner that could not even make it to the crossing it was so muddy. I was a good lesson on how bad it can get in the SE desert.

It’s not a good area to mess around when it’s wet and muddy. I learned my lesson the hard way that’s for sure. Appreciate the update!

THANKS for the show. A good bunch of really neat shots that show both the exciting and the not so exciting. REAL travel pixs. Good work.

I find it’s good to just relax and stay in place a couple days if it’s not going to rain more.

Enjoyed that video. Some really nice stills in there of the Alvord and love the ones that show how the Steens just rise up and meet you. We went last Spring and drove up to the snow line as well. My first time and would like to go back someday.

Thanks for posting. Btw, what program/app did you use for the Video compilation?

Glad you liked the video.

This was created using the "Photos" app in Windows 10. It works ok for simple video editing and since it's free and built into Windows, it gets the job done.
