SoCal Meet and Greet?

I know im new to this board... but i think the best way to meet people... is in person with a ice cold beer or soda, along with maybe some tailgating bbq.

What do you guys think? Next month somewhere? Maybe at the beach for the day? Cellularsteve, what beach did we just do the portal meet at? That worked fine.

Hey Dave, Sounds good how about a bit higher in elevation, Big bear maybe? Back in the valley, trees, and maybe a smaller crowd.

What ever the majority decides is cool to.

Depending on the date, I would definitely try to join up. We will be out of town at the end of september for two weeks.

CJ, i would love to make it in Big Bear.. but generally speaking if you make it a easy location to get too, that doesn't cost $100 in fuel.. more people show up. If we keep it local with some good food and some nice folks, we should have a great time no matter where.

So lets try and make it before then so you can make it.

How does the second weekend in September (13th or 14th) sound for everyone?

That sounds perfect to me. It was a central location for most and easy to find. I could get there early when the gates open to get a spot. Would anyone else want to get there early?

It is about a two hour drive from my place, however, I would be willing to do that. Especially since the surf can be fun there
