Verrrry nice Rick. You need more L brackets though...
Love the inside gray water dump idea. Living in CO that is a really good idea and now I have to go outside in the snow to look at mine.

I think I’ll enjoy having the higher countertop, it was at such an awkward height before, not quite low enough when seated and too low when standing.
Not at all, here’s the link to the sink....

Where did you get the "new" shades?
I really like the idea of bottom mounting in that location. Mine has a couple of torn cords I could replace, but would consider new ones if they are darker to block out more sun.
I have a 3rd Cpts chair in that location (behind drives seat) and although I'd really like to put a slide out type bed there, extending the counter (as you have done), would be MUCH easier and give me much more storage.
Thanks, again!

Yes, AVC, which is really just Matt and a part time employee, programed and CNC'd the cabinets. I worked with him on design, layout and I picked out the laminate, most everything else I've been plugging away at, save for the electrical.

Hey REF
Can you tell me what model number Truckfridge you are installing?
Also height of your tall cabinet (inside dimension)?
I’m homebuilding a RB50 interior and really like your design.
Thanks, John

Shoot, was hoping you got that at a big box store and cut them yourself. Gonna look really nice.

That’s the larger TF130-12V
Can’t wait to fill that thing up, cavernous compared to that little norcold cube we had, and there’s a nice cool white interior light, we’ll be able to see what’s in there!
Keep in mind, because of my layout, I had to do some work to the fuel filler hump to get that thing closer to the van wall so it didn’t stick out so far. If you put this fridge directly behind the driver seat, it would need to be moved too far back for any other cabs to fit and still be able to move or recline the seat back.
Cab is up at the shop, will have to wait till Monday, although it’s not linear, it drops at the rear, so not sure I can really give you accurate measurements for your fitment. Plus I built upper trim panel boxes at my roof rails that the cab is cut to fit around. The holes are for the heater tube that feeds through.
The biggest hurdle to getting cabs to fit in the Econoline is fitting to the contours of the walls. Matt scanned the wall in after all our trim was up and was able to render a 3D drawing, pretty cool. The unit fit really well without having to trim. The other way is to obviously make several templates along the van wall, as the height and curvature change as you move towards the rear, and trim to fit.

Very nice design and execution. Inspiring build. Be careful with that flooring. I have the same vinyl and put a small rip in it when I was sliding my rear seat in prior to mounting. Fortunately the rip is under the seat in a storage area. It has proven to be an easy floor to keep clean though.
I recently purchased one of the diesel Chinese Heaters that look identical to your Espar. I had debated where to put it but think where you did will work out the best.
Thanks for sharing your project and documenting it so well.
