One more days worth....
Got the spacing measured and holes drilled for the headrests.

I picked up some metal sleeves to weld in place inside the holes for added support for the plastic headrest guides. I’ll have to take a pic of that tomorrow.
I’m pretty stoked on how the lighting turned out, hard to show in a few crappy pics, but beside the new puck lights, we ran RGB LED ribbon lights in a few areas all on one circuit- The sides below the rear section of the upper bed, above the side doors got both RBG and plain white ribbon LED task light and we still have to add the RBG and white ribbon task over the counter area.

Yes!! Full disco mode! I assume you will have the music to match! What are we seeing in the first photo? Where do the headrests go, and what is the metal part sitting on? It looks like there is some kind of steam bent 2"x4" on top, quality work there. Anyway, great progress

That’s looking down at the top of the existing seat frame. I peeled the foam back and all I did was drill some holes in it and Matt welded in the metal sleeves.

Really coming together nicely - like the color & material choices on your interior

Is there a higher quality alternative (Van Specialties?) to SMB if you were starting from scratch?

My big fat interior (re)build

There are so many up-fitters out there today. It really depends on a few factors-
What vehicle you have (plus new/old)
The type of buildout you want
Where you live (or it doesn’t matter)
How much you want to spend
There’s at least 5 or 6 companies that I know of between Ft. Collins, Loveland, Boulder and Denver. I mentioned earlier in my thread, I’m working with Matt who owns Adventure Vehicle Concepts (AVC) up in Loveland CO. I’m a unique case in that he mainly (exclusively) does build-outs on new Transits or Sprinters that the customers drop off to him after design consultation and hands it back to them upon completion.
Maybe we should put together a comprehensive list of all up-fitters? Problem is they get buried in the thread.
Since working on mine, I now have a better appreciation of why our fully outfitted rigs cost so dang much!

I couldn't agree more with that statement. I have at least 500 hours if not more of my own time into my full buildout.

Your build is looking awesome man!!
