New wheels, center cap doesn't fit.. Method NV305. Any recommendations?

Hello,

I recently put on Method NV 305 wheels on my Quigley conversion. The center cap doesn't fit the
Any recommendations on how I can make this look better?

Method doesn't have any caps deep enough to fit over the hubs as they are much longer than the typical applications.

Per Method, one option would be to cut out the center of the caps where the logo is and run the caps kind of like a sleeve that covers up most of the hub. Has anyone tried this? I doubt it would fit the rear hub.

Do you think the axle shafts should be refinished or painted? Other aftermarket brands?

Pictures attached. Thanks!

Unless I'm reading your post wrong, for the front axle all covers have to have the sleeve version with an open end, otherwise you'd never be able to lock and unlock the hubs. Hard to imagine that method doesn't already have these available and in stock? As for the rear, bummer that method doesn't make a cover that will fit over the axle end. However, as you suggested, a fresh coat of paint would certainly give it that finished look.

Since you need to get to your front hub locks.....paint the hubs satin black.

I cut holes in my caps to get access to the locking hub, since I have semi-floater rear I don’t have your problem. One thing I didn’t realize was water gets into the hole in the cap and due to shape, it gets held against the wheel and hub. I have corrosion issues now, nothing major but something to think about.

This doesn't help to solve your problem, but I personally think the full float sticking out of the rear wheel looks fantastic. That's a badge of honor! Wear it proud, don't cover it up!

Now excuse me as I go back and sulk about my semi-float.

Yeah I don't necessarily mind the rear as long as it isn't rusty. It has some surface rust now.

Thanks everyone. Think I'll try to get rid of the surface rust and paint them then.

I put Method wheels on my 2019 F350 this year and the tire shop ordered deep center caps to go over my floating rear axel. I think they are available.

I just installed new Method's and they came with caps, but I can't tell where they came from, the folks who I ordered the tires and wheels from included them. The rear is a full float too.
