Electric remodel 99%

So I added a subwoofer

Completely overhauled the electrical system and ditched the AGM for a Goal Zero Yeti 3000

Made s custom switch panel with a 1- off - 2 switch and added a tender for shore power

I am a master Epectrician and this had been an idea of mine for years, what do y’all think??

Finally got rid of the Air Bag Light I've been staring at for years. YEARS!
Using my new fancy AutoEnginuity software I was able to track down the fault to a resistance out of range in the Passenger Seat Belt Pre-Tensioner circuit. After a little probing with the multi meter narrowed it down to the plug under the seat. Couldn't see anything wrong. Must just be flexed too many times spinning the seat. For now I just replaced the factory plug with a set of shielded spade connectors. Cleared the code with AE and no light. Don't know what it would have cost to go to Ford for that but it chipped away at the cost for the AE kit.

That under-seat airbag connector is a known weak point in SMB vans. I have to wiggle my connector occasionally to get the light to go off. Good idea to replace with a different connector. Is it just two wires?

Great work.

So nice to resolve something that has bothered you for any period of time and even better if it has been a while.

Can you elaborate on how your fancy new software assists in trouble shooting, I've not heard of it before. Thanks......

Dual front shock fabrication completed - After conversing with several shops, finally narrowed it down to one (had a fabricator that had considerable experience building 4x4's that also participated in the Baja races) - took two weeks, but worth the wait - Van Rides great.

Who did your conversion? Why was 2 necessary?

Performance Diesel in Baltimore. Upgraded mainly because the weight of the Van (loaded & with two people 11,500lbs). On some washboard trails & back roads (when going through turns) the front of the van would dip far enough that the wheels would just barely make contact with the wheel wells. Also, at higher speed, when going over bumps or poorly fused sections on the road (like traveling across some bridges or overpasses) the front of the van would bounce a couple times before it evened out....at 70mph thats a little unnerving.
So thats the first thing I trialed when i drove the Van back - have a section of freeway that produces that issue. It took the bounce and evened out immediately. Overall, normal street/highway travel hasn't really change. Cant wait to test it off-road.
