Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Will your bikes still fit?

Not today but on the weekend I winterized mine. I used a shop vac this time to drain the HW tank completely... this could be my first winter without freezing something and having to replace it!

Mike,

It sounds great, and please do let us know how it works in the long term. Just be careful if you walk on the PH roof. Shine + smooth = dangerous to walk on.

Here it is in late October, and the top still looks great! I need to get up there and wash it and apply the semi-annual two coats.

Something about hunkering in the back of a darkened van, snapping photos of women who walk by...

Installed a CB in preparation for Bill Burkes SMB Class next month (Mandatory to have one). Repaired a tie rod boot that became unseated. Greased the 5 zirk fittings. Found and replaced a broken (OEM) zip tie that holds the AGM battery top in place (you may want to check this).

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Installed a 2M/144 Ham radio this weekend. As I was poised over the roof with a drill to bore a hole in the perfectly sound weathertight body for the antenna I thought, "just what the ???? am I doing." After I made the hole I felt like I needed to go to some therapy session.
