When changing from AMG to Lithium, did you do the work yourself or have it done at a shop ?

I haven’t seen any posts of a shop willing to do this type of work. It’s very time consuming and each build is different.

I waited many years to do this because of the price of lithium batteries and the other systems required. 200ah batteries were about $3000-$4000 5 years ago and now go for $500-$900.

I installed a Centennial 4D AGM back in 2019. It has been great so far and was very competitively priced. I considered swapping to lithium but didn't because of the cold climate in North Idaho. As long as I keep my battery topped off, there is no worries about sub-zero temps. https://www.battsys.com/centennial-m..._store=battsys

Hi Ron. My 2 Lifelines installed in 2009 are on their last leg. I figure if a new set will last another 10 years, I'd pass on upgrading to lithium. So I'll probably be looking for a new set of 4D's.
But at that price I might be swayed into lithium.

Where did you end up mounting the battery?
