Disconnecting batteries to work on engine - 6.0 diesel
I'm kinda new. I bought a used 2004 E350 6.0 EB Quigley work can 4 yrs ago with the idea of doing a DIY SMB but due to unexpected situations it has spent most of its life (with me) in storage. I pulled it out last year and the EGR cooler ruptured so back into storage it went. Its back out, in my driveway and I'm about to start and EGR delete and several other things. It must be my inexperience with 6.0 diesel vans but the only way I we to disconnect the batteries is to drop them from their frame mounts. That sounds like a big hassle - is there another way? A battery isolator? Help please.
