Reverse lighting?

How do you deal with lighting for reverse?
Special bulbs?
Additional lights?
Just wingit and let the aluminess take the hit?

But seriously, what ya got?

2001 E350 PSD w/ a bunch of stuff.
And had three other E350s...

I started with two lights installed in the bumper, but since they are recessed, they only shine directly behind the van, where I can't really see. So, I installed two inexpensive LED's from Amazon along the side of the bumper. They do a far better job of allowing me to see what's in the mirrors. I originally ran the inner bumper lights directly from one of the stock reverse lights, but when I added even more lights, I re-wired them using a relay triggered from the stock lights. Now I can see.

I still have the old Hella backups in the bumper but also have LED's on the roof rack. The lower Hella's are usually rigged to come on while in reverse. Maybe one of these days I'll upgrade to all LED's but the standard Hella bulbs are so much better in dark wet weather I doubt I'll change them. The upper and lower lights combined is nice.
