Are anyone of you located in Colorado? I will need to find a very good installer somewhere in the southern third of the state. Colorado Springs and south. Can someone recommend anyone ( preferably) less than 200 miles from where I am? Or an RV or Sporty specialist to deal with solar and other possible issues? I need all the help I can get!

To everyone,
It seems like I remember a very detailed post somewhere on the site, that was all about how to install the self-stick solar panels! Sadly, I have not found it yet, and am not certain of where it was posted. Can someone PLEASE let me know if you
happen to spot it???
Thank you,
ConnieKat

In the video I posted, they used Eternabond on the edges. I've seen demos of people who used a combination of an adhesive and the Eternabond. The benefit of the tape is it prevents air from getting under the panel. There are a lot of videos on youtube to look at for different methods. Most apply the panels directly to the roof, but some feel the spacer will give you more life with the panel.

Excellent idea, I will take a look as soon as I can! We’ve been a bit sidelined with water and well issues
recently that got worse as we tried to get it fixed! Ah
well....I will take look on youtube and see what I can find. Perhaps it will be the answer I need!
Thanks for pointing it out....

Here's another hightop with flex panels. Attached with VHB tape and Marine sealant.

Fool120,
Now those look more like what I had in mind! Did you attach the whole thing yourself? Nice looking job. Sure wish we were close enough for advice and help.
Thanks for both info and photos! Will surely help if and when I can find someone to install them. I don’t dare get on a ladder!! Broken back my last year of Military service, so some things just aren’t possible.
I’m lucky not to be in a wheelchair, so am not “ pushing” it.

Yes, panels and most everything else, done in the front yard. It wasn't too hard to do, just had to be careful while up on top, as it's kinda slick. I was able to get on and off the van roof from my garage roof. The basic process was: measure, plan, clean and rough up the surface a bit, add tape and sealant, then carefully set down the panels. They stick right where you set them. I later sealed around the edges too, and taped down the cables where I could with RV roof tape. You'll also need to figure where the cables go into the van. I'll add a couple more pics.
